Link Love: Valet Mag

Another new favorite blog  of mine is Valet Mag. While targeted at a male audience, I would have to say that this blog is great for both sexes. For starters, I really dig their design. Nothing draws me into a blog like a crisp, sexy layout, and on that front Valet certainly delivers. I almost feel bad subscribing to it by RSS because I love visiting the website so much.

I highly reccomend the fashion guides for …

Gentlemen Joe has a great set of necktie tutorials, complete with pictures of the finished products. Personally, I am a fan of the Pratt Tie Knot, which I had never even heard of before researching this article!

I adore these cufflinks by Jan Leslie, they were on super sale today at the Gilt Group, but I was too late! They sold out early in the day. So sad.

One consideration in choosing a tuxedo is what shape lapel is most fashionable and suitable to your frame. The shawl collar lapel is somewhat old-fashion, but still a classic. This style is a good choice for a man who wants something a little different, but still traditional. The peak lapel and notch lapel are far more common. The peak lapel is best suited to men with a slender frame who want to look a bit broader through the chest. If you have a broad build I would not recommend it. …
